A NEW WEBSITE!

As of March 2015, an official website for Surrey Moths has been set-up here. There you'll find information on everything to do with the Surrey Branch of Butterfly Conservation, including the updated events calender for 2015. Hope to see you there!

Slow progress

Apart from a few moths at house-lights (blood-vein, small dusty wave and Tortrix viridana) I've not seen much.
However, I did get a rare brilliant emerald in the garden - not the greatest pic but this species is very hard to approach (in fact it's the first time I've ever seen one land at all).
